Playing with No Offense Plays via /r/lacrosse

Playing with No Offense Plays

Hi. How's it hanging? So before the spring season, I do this indoor turf league. There are no coaches because they want the give us an atmosphere where we can really play without being hindered by them with offensive plays. But there are seniors that are part of our school to give us tips. I've just began to understand movement, cutting, and field vision. What I'm having trouble is what do you actually when you're not playing an offensive scheme or not being organized on the field. People just move around a bit and just try to get open for an outside shot? I would greatly appreciate it if I could get a couple comments on what I should do with no offensive plays. Thanks

Any good footwork drills? via /r/lacrosse

Any good footwork drills?

Hello! I’ve been playing girl’s lacrosse for about 6-ish years now and I’ve been wanting to take my shooting skills to the next level. I’m pretty good with sidearms, twizzlers, and BTBs, but my main problem is that I just can’t shake my defender. I only have a few cones, a goal, and a shotblocker to work with. Thanks in advance!!
